Mental relaxation techniques
Psychological-related causes are often attributed to the emergence of insomnia. If you want to improve your sleeping habits, mental relaxations such as the following will be of great help:
• Eliminate sad thoughts. Find a calm and serene place where you may spend time to yourself even just for 30 minutes. While lying down, try eliminating all the sad thoughts and emotions. This technique will be successful as you consider focusing on one of the objects found inside the room you are in. Do this for a minute then sit and stand and walk along the room.
• Think of happy ones. After taking a brief walk in the room, return to your usual position. Now, you need to think of happy thoughts which took place in your life some years or days back. You may also think of a beautiful place where you want to have a nice time. Imagine yourself right in that same spot.
