Tea coming from a combination of herbs will also help induce sleep. All you need to do is mix linden, kava, valerian, catnip and chamomile altogether. After which, get either a teaspoon or a tablespoon of the concoction and mix it with boiling water. Let the mixture seat for 20 minutes then sweeten it with honey before taking small sips.
• Pillow. You may also make your own pillow which contains herbs in it. All you need is a drawstring bag, a combination of your chosen relaxing herbs and fabric softener. Fill-up the medium-sized drawstring bag (around 3 to 5 inches in size) with either ¼ or ½ cup of the herbs you carefully chose. Draw the strings together and close it tightly. You may also add decoration on the bag by making some stitches with the use of a cloth and design it which way you want. When the ends have been stitched, you may wash it with fabric conditioner. Put another ½ cup of the herbs on the bottom of a pocket similar to a cotton-ball look. Stitch it and you are ready to sleep with your new pillow.
